The Alden, formerly Alden Theatre, is a 383-seat performing arts venue located in downtown McLean, Virginia. The Alden hosts a multitude of various nationally- and internationally-renowned touring acts in music, comedy, dance, film, children’s programming, and other entertainment categories. In order to increase ticket sales and grow awareness around Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC, seasonal brochures are mailed and distributed in local coffee shops, libraries and schools. Though the visual content changes each season, the format is retained as a highly-portable, organized communication. In addition to brochures, a series of postcards, posters and email newsletter templates were created for ongoing, in-house use by The Alden staff.
